Please read the instructions outlined on the application carefully BEFORE you begin your application.
Be prepared, there are five sections to the NPLI Executive Education application:
1. Section one asks for demographic information.
2. Section two asks for financial sponsor information.
3. Section three asks questions on your education and employment, professional training, and organizational information.
4. Section four asks essay questions, please answer thoughtfully.
5. Section five asks about the NPLI Executive Education Team Project
If you fail to complete any of the required fields your application will be automatically rejected. All sections must be answered and submitted in order to complete the application and be considered for the program. This is a competitive program.
Should you be accepted into the program you will be required as a candidate to participate in a team project. This is a mandatory assignment and part of the NPLI EEP learning experience.
The team projects are assignments focusing on real world challenges. Teams go through an innovation process identify a challenge and then develop a potential solution that will advance a process or system response, policy, or As a team you will than work to implement your solution.
Due to the complexity of the challenges that are undertaken, many projects are not fully completed within the 6 month time frame. Therefore, we have several existing projects to be carried forward by the next NPLI EEP cohort in order to continue making progress on the solution.

How long will the online application process take?
The online application may take as much as sixty minutes to complete. Please set aside uninterrupted time to complete this application.
When will I be notified of the decision of my application?
The review and selection process can take up to 4 weeks.
How will I be notified of the decision on my application?
You will be notified via email of our decision.
How many seats are available per class?
Admissions is on a rolling basis and the class fills up quickly. We urge you to get your application in early as only 50 spots are available.
Must I attend both the Opening and Concluding Sessions?
Yes, this is a two part program, both sessions are mandatory to attend. Cohort 13 convenes the weeks of April 26 – 30 and May 1, 2015 and October 27 – 30, 2015,please clear your calendar.
What is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee is $10,200 and covers instruction, materials, lodging, and most meals during the period where teaching takes place for both sessions. The tuition fee does not cover the candidate’s travel and travel related expenses. All candidates selected are financially responsible for incurred travel costs to and from the program for both sessions.
Is there tuition assistance?
Yes, tuition assistance in the form of fellowships are available for State, Local, Tribal, and Non-Profit sector employees only. Fellowships are given out in the amount of UP to 50% of the tuition fee. We do not give out full fellowships. Please make sure to secure your funding before applying to the program.
