Mark Misczak (Cohort VII), the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s deputy director of individual assistance division, was recently featured in the Washington Post for his work in the super storm Sandy response.
“What other job could you have where you are able to help someone who has completely given up hope and help them put things back together,” said Misczak in the story. “To make that impact on people, it has been a life changer for me.”
Mark is just one of many NPLI alumni involved in the response to Sandy. We offer our thanks and congratulations to him and all of his colleagues who have worked countless hours helping those in need.
