On Monday April 15, Dr. Leonard Marcus of the NPLI led the inaugural Meta-leadership Training for National Security Professionals and the Senior Executive Service in Washington, DC. The theme was “Leadership in Times of Crises” and focused on leadership during emergency situations requiring coordination of activities by multiple agencies, organizations, and stakeholders. The program is presented by the United States Office of Personnel Management.
The second seminar will be held on Monday, April 22. Dr. Marcus address Achievement of Administration Priorities through Enterprise Leadership.
“This program represents the continued commitment of both Harvard and the federal government to foster exceptional meta-leadership at all levels,” said Dr. Marcus. “Today’s challenges are complex and effective leadership can make a positive difference as we saw in Boston this past Monday.”
