Eric Goralnick has joined the NPLI faculty as Senior Associate. Goralnick is currently the Medical Director of Emergency Preparedness and Associate Clinical Director at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He attended the United States Naval Academy and served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. After shadowing Navy Physicians and Corpsmen overseas, he then began his medical career by attending the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and completing his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, serving as Chief Resident during his final year.
Goralnick expands the disaster medicine expertise on the NPLI faculty. He was among those responding in the immediate aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings and recently helped convene a meeting of many of the emergency and trauma physicians involved in that response to share lessons learned and principles affirmed.
