NSSE Study Continues at 2013 Inauguration

The ongoing study of National Special Security Events (NSSEs() by the NPLI continued with a trip by Leonard Marcus, NPLI founding co-director, and Eric McNulty, NPLI senior associate, to the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. NPLI Welcomes Cohort X

News The NPLI welcomed Cohort X to Harvard in early December. The 50 participants came from Federal agencies such as CDC, DHS, FDA, and FEMA. State and local participants came from California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, Ohio, and others. There were also participants from the private and non-profit sectors. Lessons from Irene

News Tropical storm Irene devastated a large swatch of Vermont in 2011. The NPLI has long worked with the Vermont National Guard and have been able to develop a case history of the leadership challenges in the response. NPLI Welcomes Cohort VIII

News The latest cohort of NPLI executive education participants journeyed to Cambridge in early December for the first week of their program. Fifty-six particpants came from as far away as Alaska (and as close as Boston). Ashkenazi Speaks at HSPH Forum

News The Harvard School of Public Health Forum recently presented a panel discussion on lessons learned in the decade since 9/11.
