NPLI Rocks IAEM 2016

The 2016 annual meeting of the International Association of Emergency Managers was held in Savannah, Georgia on October 14-19 and NPLIers were there in full force demonstrating meta-leadership as organizers, presenters, and attendees. Susamma Seely (Cohort XIV) chaired the program planning committee. Dr. Leonard Marcus, NPLI founding co-director, delivered a keynote address. Aimee Binning (Cohort IX), Jane Cage (Cohort XI), Marcus Coleman (Cohort XII), Carina Elsenboss (Cohort XII), Leslie Luke (Cohort XIII), and Ellis Stanley (Cohort II) were all on the roster of speakers. Geoff Bartlett (Cohort XII) and Rich Serino (Cohort I and currently Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the NPLI) were also in attendance.

The annual IAEM conference provides educational and networking opportunities for professionals from around the world. We’re proud that so many of our faculty and alumni were participating in both.
